FAQ - Ethereum Upgrade PECTRA.

Here’s a quick overview of the upcoming Ethereum network upgrade, known as Pectra, and how it may affect your activity on Stablehouse.

What is Pectra? 

Pectra is a major Ethereum network upgrade aimed at improving validator flexibility, network scalability, user experience, and transaction efficiency. It includes a series of proposals that will help make the Ethereum ecosystem faster, more cost-effective, and easier to use.

How does this affect your XBTO activity?

To ensure a smooth transition during the upgrade, we will temporarily pause certain activities involving Ethereum and related blockchains:

  • Trading Pause: All trading of tokens on Ethereum, Polygon, and Base blockchains will be paused starting May 7th at 8:00 AM EST.
  • Deposits & Withdrawals Pause: All deposits and withdrawals of tokens on Ethereum, Polygon, and Base will be paused starting May 7th at 04:00 PM EST.
  • Services Resume: We expect to resume full services by May 8th at 8:00 AM EST, once the network upgrade has been confirmed successful.

When is this happening?

  • Upgrade Date: May 7, 2025
  • Activity Pauses:
    • Trading paused: May 7, 8:00 AM EST.
    • Deposits & withdrawals paused: May 7, 04:00 PM EST
    • Expected Resume: May 8, 8:00 AM EST

Do I need to take any action?

No action is needed from your side. All measures are being taken by XBTO to ensure your assets remain secure during the upgrade.

Can I trade other tokens during this time?

Yes. Trading, deposits, and withdrawals for tokens not on the Ethereum, Polygon, or Base blockchains will remain active and unaffected.
