Update your account information
Once you have submitted your personal information for verification, you will not be able to manually change these details.
You can, however, use the individual procedures outlined below if you require any information to be updated:
Email Address Change
Before changing your email address, please note that:
- The new email address cannot be associated with any other Stablehouse account (active or closed)
- It’s strongly recommended to use a free public domain email that you’ll always have access to. Using self-hosted domains increases the risk of losing access to your email address over time.
How to Request the Change
For security reasons, we require identity verification before updating your details.- Contact us at support@xbto.com
- Include a photo of yourself holding a handwritten note and your ID.
Handwritten Note Requirements:
Please include the following information in your note:
- Today’s date
- Your full name and date of birth
- The statement: "I authorise XBTO to change my email/phone to [your new details]"
Ensure that both hands and your ID are clearly visible in the photo. - Once we receive your email with the requested information and verify your identity, we will proceed with changing your email.
Refer to the sample image below for guidance on how to take the photo.
